As a Senior Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in scaling up and commercializing Ioniqa’s patented Denua® PET upcycling process worldwide. Role scope
As a member of the core Engineering team, you will be instrumental in finalizing the process design for global license packages based on Ioniqa’s commercial PET upcycling technology. Leveraging your experience, your role ensures the right technical decisions are made for scaling up the process efficiently and effectively, with a direct impact on international customer implementations. You’ll contribute to defining, developing, and delivering comprehensive license packages, including technology transfer, engineering documentation, and customer engagement, while supporting innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Scale-up of current PET upcycling process (including Plastic feedstock adaptation).
- Define process and equipment design specifications for unit operations.
- Collect, analyze, and translate operational data to inform future plant designs.
- Define operating windows for key equipment and document core process know-how.
- Evaluate current and emerging technologies for process enhancement.
- Conduct process synthesis, flowsheet design, and chemical process modeling.
- Develop and refine comprehensive license packages for external partners.
- Translate customer-specific requirements into tailored licensing solutions.
- Provide technical support during customer onboarding and implementation phases.
Required Expertise
- Deep understanding of chemical process development and industrial scale-up.
- Proven track record in flowsheet development and validation.
- Strong experience with AspenTech modeling tools (e.g., Aspen Plus/HYSYS).
- Previous involvement in the development and deployment of technology license packages.
